Peacefully in hospital on 13th March 2025, aged 88 years.
A loving and much loved husband of Ann, a loving dad to Marie and Stephen and a loved father-in-law to Mandy. Also an adored grandad to Callum, Holly, Elle and Ethan.
Friends are invited to a Requiem Mass at St Cuthbert's RC Church, Chester-le-Street on Friday 4th April at 1.30pm. A private interment will take place afterwards.
By request family flowers only, donations in lieu, can be made in memory of John via a retiring collection at the church. All proceeds will be greatly accepted for Macmillan Nurses.
